The Hunt is on!

So the hunt is on! Last week was the Youth Duck Hunt, Nick decided hey it is offically a hunting weekend so in order for me to go I better find some kids. So Kambri and Braydon were the willing ones to go. They had a blast! They were troopers they had to get up at 2:45am to leave the house by 3:00am so for a 10 and 12 year old thats pretty amazing. They got there and 6:30 rolls around Nick said it was like World WarIII so many shots were let off. All in all they got 4 ducks total Braydon 3 and Kambri 1 and shot about 90 rounds a piece. (Yeah their shoulders were black and blue by that night) They said they can't wait to go again. But to tell you honestly I think Nick and Ryan had more fun than the kids, they said they wouldn't of missed this for anything!! So it was a success and no one got hurt. Here is a few photos of their hunt.

Some of the Duck Decoys they use out there.

Loading them up in the boat.

Their Four Ducks Hooray!

At the end of the day, and boy were they tired.
They did a great job.

Our Adventure to Ohio

So our most recent adventure took us back to Ohio. Wow that place is very interesting. We went back to meet my husbands dad's side of the family for the first time for Jackie and myself. They were all very welcoming to us which was great. I am not going to lie to ya there were some parts of Ohio that were kind of scary, there were absolutely no mountains so my sense of direction was shot. But it was so green with trees and grass every where that was so beautiful, but hte humidity sucked but hey it was well worth it. We also hit Cedar Point the roller coaster capitol of the world. Me not a big thrill rider so I stuck with the basic Choo Choo Train. But it was awesome to see Lake Erie. Here are a few pictures of us with some of our family.

Just outside of Ohio very pretty
We ate at the Hard Rock Cafe in Cleveland the first night

Nick and Me, right behind us you can see where the Cleveland Indians Play.

Ryan, Jackie, and "P" she was tired from the 5 hour plane ride.

In Ohio you see toads instead of snakes yes they are nasty slimey things. Yuck!

This was one of the sunsets in Ohio, crazy to watch the sun hit the ground and not go behind a mountain.

I liked this picture.

Cedar Point, this is call the Dragster. Launches you 120 mph in 4 seconds

Nick and Ryan on the Dragster, They were scared unto death.

"P" on the Choo Choo Train with the wusses.

This one is funny. They are just as redneck as we are here in Utah!!

Fish Lake

Here is our most recent adventure. Nick's family have a tradition every year to go to Fish Lake. So every year we head up there and go camping for four or five days. For those of you who have never been up there it is beautiful and I suggest you go and see for yourself. The fishing was great this year and we all had a blast, but it was very cold. It rained and snowed everyday we were up there. But I have never seen it so green. So here is some pictures of my husbands side of the family. And what we did at Fish Lake.

This is looking down on Fish Lake the water color is so amazing.

Here is some of our family. We always have a picture taken there every year.

This is Nick's sister and her family. They didnt make it to the family picture.

Memorial Memories

Memorial Weekend I think is the most beautiful time of the year. So my mom and the girls, Carol and Brandon and their kids, Kayli and Kaitlin, and Nick and myself all went down the day before and decided to decorate some graves. It was so nice we actually found parking spots. Woohoo. And after we decided to let the kids play at the park and have a picinic. It was really fun and so beautiful.

These were some flowers out of my moms and Carols gardens. Beautiful.
Landon eating some fingerlickn' food.

Maddy Jo chasing a bird or bee something.

Shay Shay swinging she had a blast.

Playing on the Jungle Gym.

Maison, I made him smile at me what a cheeser.

Kaitlin, and Kambri dancing to something.

All of us going to eat our lunch. KFC the only thing open on a Sunday in Provo land.
